Author Biography

Sonia Sotomayor was born in the Bronx, New York, in 1954. She graduated from Princeton University and Yale Law School. After working as a prosecutor and a district judge, Sotomayor was appointed to the Supreme Court by President Barack Obama in 2009. She is the first Hispanic Supreme Court Justice.
