Alexander the Great

Alexander the Great was born in 356 BC in Pella, the capital of the Kingdom of Macedon. His father was Philip II of Macedon, and his mother was Olympias, the daughter of King Neoptolemus I of Epirus.

Alexander's name means "defender of men." It was a common name in ancient Greece, but it was given to Alexander because he was born on the same day that the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus was burned down. Genghis Khan

Genghis Khan's name means "universal ruler." It was a title that he gave himself after he had conquered a vast empire that stretched from China to Eastern Europe.

Victoria was a popular and respected monarch. She was known for her strong work ethic and her devotion to her family.

Victoria's reign was a time of great change for Britain. The country became a global superpower, and the Industrial Revolution transformed the way people lived.
