The Akō Incident:
In 1701, Japan was shaken by the infamous Akō Incident. A group of 47 samurai, known as the Akō Rōnin, sought revenge for the wrongful death of their master, Asano Naganori. Tadaaki was deeply involved in the incident, as he served as a councilor to the shogun and played a key role in mediating the conflict.
